Elk return in large herds to the Rocky Mountains each winter. This photo was taken during a spring snow storm. The little buck seemed curious about me and my camera. It had just pulled it's face out of the snow, some of which still sits on his nose. Photographic print paper size: 8.5x11. Available with a black border as seen here or without.
